Lagos -> Climate

 

Climatic conditions in the whole of southern Nigeria, including Lagos, are basically the same, with a clearly demarcated rainy season and dry season. The former is between May and October with a few pleasantly dry spells in August. The latter is between November and April, when the harmattan winds from the Sahara blow over the area. These winds are most severe between December and January, and sometimes extend into February as well.
