FALOMO SHOPPING CENTRE
This ultra-modern, multi-faceted shopping center on Awolowo Road in Ikoyi has specialty shops for books, local fashion, banks, travel agencies and restaurants. There is a special area with outlets for arts and crafts, offering dresses made from local materials and a wide selection of works or arts, like paintings and sculptured objects. The facilities here were set up during the 70s in order to reduce the congestion at the Balogun/Oke-arin area. It is conveniently located close to the Yaba bus-stop, which is a major transit point. This shopping complex is located at the entrance to the commercial area of the State headquarters in Ikeja. Shops in the complex offer a wide variety of products. The Eko International Bank has a branch located in its premises.

This area has recently and rapidly developed into a popular and successful location for high quality shopping. The attractive Alade market offers several brands of drinks, groceries, cosmetics, Jewelries and imported fabrics. The adjoining areas are attracting branches of Banks, financial institutions and fashion houses. The recently opened Oshopey Plaza has become very popular with a large variety of shops. The entire location has become a thriving commercial center with its numerous shops, offices, popular department stores – like Monoprix and Bisket –, fancy restaurants, etc. There is a popular new Chinese restaurant – the New Eko Chinese Restaurant – that serves delicious food.
